Is it allowed to withhold rent until a check that my personal property is returned by my landlord?
My landlord has tools to mine, I was asked more than two months. Can I hold my check for rent until they are back? I called, emailed to him speak in person and he said he did not have (it gets them out of the yard one day), but will not reduce or fix a time give them back to me. Please help if you know my rights regarding this situation. Thank you!
If he took your tools your yard without permission, he flew. Call the police, and then see what kind of case, he may be willing to work with.
